About this course

The mental health of physicians has become a critical concern particularly during the COVID-19 pandemic. Many healthcare professionals experienced pandemic fatigue or burnout leading to poor work performance and overall health. Physicians were not spared from experiencing the common responses of fear, worry, and anxiety. Many felt the psychological reactions of stress, loneliness, and agitation, with some even leading to depression.

Strategies in fostering resilience and addressing mental health issues of physicians are vital not only for their well-being but because patient care can be compromised if left unmanaged.
