About this course

Atopic dermatitis, also known as atopic eczema or skin asthma, is a chronic, inflammatory, and pruritic skin disease. It has a significant impact on quality of life, social functioning, and psychological well-being especially when managed inappropriately and inadequately.

This e-learning module reviews the pathophysiology, clinical manifestations, and treatment of atopic dermatitis. It delves into basic skin care advice, and conventional systemic and topical agents such as different glucocorticoid eczema ointments and creams. It also highlights updates on novel therapeutic options for patients with moderate to severe atopic dermatitis.
