Gastro-oesophageal reflux disease (GORD) is a common chronic condition affecting patients’ quality of life. Oftentimes, pharmacists are the first point of contact as patients seek relief by means of pharmacological intervention and lifestyle advice.

Upon completing this module, participants will have a better understanding of the following aspects:

• Global and local burden of GORD

• Current approaches to GORD management

• Role of PPIs in GORD management
