Overview

The goal of this learning activity is to provide doctors with a comprehensive review on the importance of vaccination in pregnancy to prevent diseases such as seasonal influenza and pertussis among newborns too young to be vaccinated. 


Upon completing this module, participants will have a better understanding of the following aspects:

• The burden and epidemiology of pertussis and seasonal influenza

• The rationale for Tdap and influenza vaccination in pregnancy

• Real-world effectiveness and safety profile of Tdap and influenza vaccination in pregnancy

• Current recommendations for Tdap and influenza vaccination in pregnancy
