Tocotrienol has antioxidant properties and it has been shown to attenuate the progression of white matter lesions. Tocotrienol supplementation may provide significant protection against neurodegenerative diseases associated with cognitive impairment and confers additional benefits in patients with diabetic complications. Upon completing this module, participants will have a greater understanding of the role of tocotrienol in neuroprotection and mild cognitive impairment.
